Commissioner, I’ve worked hard to protect our values and address

As a small business owner, I understand the struggles that local

entrepreneurs face daily. I’ve balanced the demands of running a

business with the responsibilities of public service, always prioritizing

fiscal responsibility and effective governance. My wife and I are

raising our children here, and like many of you, we want them to be

able to stay in this beautiful area, building their own futures in the

community we love.

We've maintained a balanced budget while making strategic investments in critical infrastructure and public services, all without raising taxes.

Saving Taxpayers Money

Pension deficit elimination - Saving taxpayers $12 million between 2022-2033
Bonded and restructured the GT Pavilions pension system saving $5,325,000
Approved $150 million re-bonding for Munson Healthcare allowing them to save money while building an on-site power plant.

Improved Governmental Efficiency with Updated Technology

New permitting software: Making it easier to pull construction permits
New digital imaging software: Increasing security and efficiency
Replaced an outdated 50-year-old computing system: Increasing efficiency
Updated, reviewed and repealed dozens of outdated and illegal ordinances.
Reorganized Cherry Capital Airport to a regional authority: eliminating taxpayer liability, allowing for growth and easier FAA compliance

Increased Safety and Security for Citizens and Law Enforcement

Approved purchase of body-worn cameras for county law enforcement
Remodeled jail with safer meeting rooms and observation areas
Approved partnership with a local agency for new medical and mental health services for jail

Other Accomplishments

Completed wage and compensation study - Increasing county wages and attracting talent
GIS improvements: To aid county decision makers by providing reliable, easily accessed, and affordable GIS products to both public and private consumers.
Provided 100k through the Land Bank for Habitat for Humanity for home improvements: Providing low-income housing to local families
Approved funds for area residents following PFAS contamination: Ensuring the health and safety of affected families in the Pine Grove Subdivision
